Einstein Beagles is a small kennel located in Rowlett, Texas, northeast of Dallas. Our love of the breed has driven us to do research and strive to produce beautiful beagles of excellent health, temperament & conformation. Our Beagles are home-raised as members of our family. They are properly socialized, spoiled from birth and receive the utmost love and care.

How we got our name

Our kennel is named in honor of the famous scientist. We think that our Beagles are the smartest dogs ever. Possibly smarter than some humans. Hence, we started Einstein Beagles!

How we got Started

We researched the breed to ensure a Beagle would be the right fit for our family. We refer to our first Beagles as rescue dogs. We wanted to get some companions, and we decided on Beagles. Without knowing any better, we got Jake and Elwood through an ad in the paper. What we later found out was probably a puppy mill simply appeared to us as horrible conditions for any animal. They had 5 puppies left from 2 different litters bunched up together in the smallest kennel. It broke our hearts and we couldn't bear to leave them. We took two of them home with us (see The Blues Beagles) and wished we could take all five. Jake and Elwood will never win any shows..but we wouldn't give them up for anything in the world.

Funny how two dogs seemed like a handful at the time! But, this experience led us to more research, and more pictures of Beagles, and Beagle puppies, and Beagle calendars, and Beagle mugs, and, well you get the idea. It also led us to some great websites of people who are dedicated to improving the breed. It was not long before we too had a desire to contribute something to the dogs which have given us so much happiness. I started contacting breeders, meeting with them and seeing several kennels, I decided to wait for a puppy from Willwood Beagles. (see Tasha)

Our Beagles are one of the bests part of our lives. We never knew it was possible to love them as much as we do. We truly enjoy every moment we spend with them.
